Welcome to NammaVeedu. We connect property owners directly with people looking to rent or buy — with no brokers and no brokerage. Please read these terms and our privacy policy before using the site. By using NammaVeedu, you agree to what's written here.

1. What NammaVeedu is (and isn't)

NammaVeedu is a listing platform — like a public noticeboard for properties. Property owners (and, where noted, verified dealers or developers) post their properties, and people looking for a home can browse them and request a callback to speak directly with the owner.

Importantly:

• We are not a broker or real estate agent. We do not buy, sell, rent, or negotiate any property. We do not take brokerage or commission on any deal.
• We do not own or manage any property listed on the site. Every listing is posted by the owner or lister, not by us.
• We are not a party to any agreement made between an owner and a person who contacts them. Any rental agreement, sale, payment, or deal happens directly between those two people, outside NammaVeedu.

2. Terms of Use

2.1 Who can use NammaVeedu

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into agreements to post a property or request a callback. By using the site you confirm this is true.

2.2 Posting a property (owners & listers)

If you post a property, you agree that:

• You are the owner of the property, or you are genuinely authorised to list it.
• The details you provide — location, price, photos, and description — are true and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• The photos you upload are of the actual property, and you have the right to use them.
• You will not post false, misleading, illegal, or duplicate listings.
• The contact number you provide is correct, so genuine enquiries can reach you.

We review listings before they go live and may verify details (including by phone). We may edit, reject, hold, or remove any listing at our discretion — for example if it looks false, incomplete, or inappropriate.

2.3 Requesting a callback (people looking for property)

When you request a callback, you provide your name, phone number, and an optional message. This is shared with the owner of that property so they can contact you. Please give accurate details and contact owners in good faith.

• Post false, fraudulent, or misleading listings, or impersonate someone else.
• Use the site to harass, spam, or send unwanted messages to owners or seekers.
• Scrape, copy, or misuse other people's contact details or listing data.
• Try to break, hack, overload, or disrupt the website or its security.
• Use the platform for anything illegal.

We may suspend or remove any account or listing that breaks these rules.

2.6 Fees

NammaVeedu is currently free to use — free to list and free to browse. If we introduce any charges in future, we will clearly say so before you are asked to pay, and these terms will be updated.

2.7 Our responsibility (limitation of liability)

NammaVeedu is provided "as is." Because we are only a platform connecting people, we are not responsible for:

• The accuracy, quality, legality, or availability of any listing.
• The conduct of any owner, lister, or person who contacts them.
• Any deal, payment, dispute, loss, or damage arising between users.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, NammaVeedu and its team are not liable for any loss you suffer from using the site or from dealing with anyone you find through it. Use your own judgement and verify everything before committing money.

2.8 Changes to the service and these terms

We may update, change, or pause the site or these terms at any time. When we change these terms, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

2.9 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of Tamil Nadu, India.

3. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and only collect what we need to run the platform. Here's exactly what we collect and how we use it.

3.1 What we collect

• From owners/listers: your email (to log in), your contact phone number, and the property details and photos you post.
• From people requesting a callback: your name, phone number, and any message you write.
• Basic technical data: standard information your browser sends when visiting any website (like general usage), used only to keep the site working.

3.2 How we use it

• To show property listings on the site.
• To pass a caller's details to the relevant property owner so they can respond.
• To let owners log in and manage their own listings and enquiries.
• To review and verify listings, and to contact you about your listing or enquiry if needed.

3.3 What we DON'T do

• We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
• We do not show a property owner's phone number publicly — it stays private; interested people reach them only through the callback request.
• We do not send spam or share your details with random third parties for marketing.

3.4 Who can see your information

When you request a callback, your name, phone, and message are shared with that property's owner so they can contact you — that's the whole point of the request. Owners can see enquiries only on their own listings. Our admin team can see listings and enquiries to run and verify the platform. That's it.

3.5 Where your data is stored

Your data is stored securely using trusted third-party services (our database and email providers) that host the platform. We take reasonable steps to protect it, though no online service can promise perfect security.

3.6 How long we keep it

We keep listings and enquiries while they are useful for running the platform. You can ask us to remove your listing or your personal details at any time (see contact below), and we'll remove them within a reasonable time, unless we're required to keep something by law.

3.7 Your choices

• You can ask us to correct or delete your listing or personal information.
• You can stop using the site at any time.
• If you want your owner account or data removed, just contact us.

3.8 Children

NammaVeedu is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
